The Hustler’s programme was started after the Zart founder, a current hustler, came in with an existing reseller wanting to sell hats. He did not have a registered business to become a reseller but wanted to sell hats for extra income.Headwear24 realised that there was a market for people just wanting to make some extra money. Thandeka, the receptionist at Headwear24, started going to taxi ranks around Durban to talk to others about selling hats. She then started the programme to help hustlers’ or aspiring entrepreneurs have the opportunity to earn an income and better their lives.
